Design Specification
Design Specification Work in conjunction with the mechanical consultants and the catering engineers to design, manufacture and install a kitchen ventilation canopy in the restaurant kitchen capable of the required volumetric air flow rates.
Solution
An Island Mounted extract and supply canopy was designed and manufactured in accordance with DW/172. The canopy was fitted with baffle type centrifugal grease filters and vapour proof recessed fluorescent lighting.
The fully insulated integral make up air plenum was fitted with perforated removable air diffuser panels to re-introduce air into the kitchen at low velocity.
Installation was achieved using heavy duty hoists and platforms in accordance with all current safety procedures.
