The Boat House, Guernsey
Design Specification
The client specification was to design and manufacture a functional yet aesthetically pleasing canopy that was to extract cooking odours and smoke from a char grill planned to be located at the front of the kitchen.
Solution
To match the existing decor and rustic ambience of the restaurant, the front valance of the canopy was radiused and clad with copper. The canopy was fitted with baffle type grease filters and recessed lighting.
An in-line cased axial fan was housed in the roof void, discharging through the gable end of the building via a painted gravity operated louvre shutter.
